Google's troubles with the Belgian litigant are tough to interpret unless you know the nuances of Belgian law, reports law professor Eric Goldman. The closest thing you'll get to his opinion, he says, is to read his overview of the Agence France-Presse case. Goldman says that the rough takeaway from the Belgian case is that "this is not a surprising result" and that it "may not bode well for Google's US case."
