Bad News for Google's Customers: Bell Canada Exec is New CFO

Follow the logic.

A Bell Canada veteran heading up the finance dept. of our favorite company, Google.

Can we surmise the following in Google's future, as part of a new set of "best practices"?

• Mystery smart-touch services that you didn't order showing up on your bill
• Endless phone trees trying to get such problems resolved
• Irritating advertising involving sarcastic beavers, overpaying Norm Macdonald for voice-overs?
• When you choose another provider, a volley of direct mail and nonstop barrage of telemarketing calls, begging you to come back?

On the upside:

• Construction of large, barracks-like facilities in hundreds of cities, employing tens of thousands of people, that will someday become hip loft space when the workers become redundant?
• Friendly sponsorships of garden parties, golf tournaments, and Mike Weir's hat?
