In the "where are they now" file, Barry Diller and IAC Interactive Corp. (IACI):
- Just released weak Q1 results, showing a 10% revenue decline year-over-year, and a small loss
- Is still sporting a healthy-looking price-to-earnings ratio based on last year's profit, some of which came about as a result of one-time items
- Is apparently interested in buying Yahoo Personals
- Gave us a very useful fact to work with: unlike other company execs in the space, Diller notes that click prices are down anywhere from 5% to 20% year over year, depending on the vertical.
- Service Magic, the homeowner-and-contractor lead generation service, is a bright spot, with revenues up 8%.
